A little bit about who I am and my walk with Jesus

Hey. My name is bailey and I was born and raised outside of Detroit, Michigan. I am so fortunate to have grown up in a home of Christ followers and have many incredible spiritual role models to look up to. I am a student, an author and a huge dog lover. One thing about me, though, is that I am the ultimate planner. I like to have every detail worked out, and I love knowing exactly how things are going to go down. My life took a detour in the summer of 2021 when I found out my fiancé was cheating on me with someone he had met in school. Heartbroken, I was left without a plan for my future, when I previously had every detail worked out. This was the first time I really allowed God into my brokenness, and let Him grab the reins of my life. Instead of needing to plan out all the details, I finally learned what it meant to fully trust God’s plan. It took a while but I learned through this heartbreak that difficult life experiences are God’s way of refining us, not punishing us. My experience led me to write, as I felt called to share my story with others. I look forward to the release of my first book, which was written primarily in the wake of my recently failed engagement. I don’t claim perfection, nor do I claim to have all the answers, rather I am a sister in Christ eager to help others find healing through my story and life experiences. I am so glad you are here and I hope we can grow in Christ together!
